Drawing has been with me my whole life, as a small boy coloring pencils were my favoritetool. I used to always have a pen in my hand and often adorned my environment and surroundings. In this time the people were not yet so enthusiastic about my art. My interest in artistic creativity did not help me at school either. So when it came topicking a career art seemed a perfect choice. In the beginning I would produce drawings for money but with every artist, my true art wasalways about expressing my feelings and enjoying to do so.My new life began 2003, shortly after my 18th birthday. In Innsbruck custom Tattoos were in demand. It became apparent that there were not so many creative tattoo artists at this time. People often asked me to produce art for them so they could have them tattooed. After seeing what other artists were doing with my art, I decided to try to produce the tattoos myself. After deciding tattooing was something I would like to get into, I invested my entire lifesavings into tattoo tools and equipment. I was shocked at how fast it all went.
From my first try on a banana at aged 18 to having my own Tattoo studio at aged 20.After working in the tattoo industry for 2 years, I became very conscious of the possibilitiesof tattooing all art forms which I had so far become acquainted with during my drawing life. The needle, which brings colors to life and learning the techniques needed for them toshine and being able make the best work possible with this combination so far has madereally happy and continues to inspire my future works. On my way from the Zero to the Hero I had so much luck. Friends of mine were alwayswilling to advise me and help me in what I was doing. Not to mention the countless hoursthey made themselves available not only as test objects, but expressing their dreams andideas inspiring me to try to reproduce these images for them.Naturally I constantly gave 110%, never relenting. Every free minute I was trying newthings and looking to push myself to make the best work I could do.To train and develop myself further I would visit fairs and Conventions for insights andideas of what I could try next.I believe tattooing is a journey, I dont believe there is an end. I certainly feel I am foreverdeveloping as an artist and will keep striving towards the perfect tattoo for the clientsneeds and wishes.
